WINNER -  Best New Australian Play Award (Redfest Dramafest 2013)

Covid has been a very hard time for Community Theatre Groups and we are aware that they may be reticent in purchasing a fundraising production.  That's why we are currently adapting the Fee's and Licensing and FAQ's pages of our website.

We're coming up with a better way for Theatre Groups to purchase and perform 'The Silk Rags Project' without affecting our commitment of donating to The Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

In the meantime, feel free to browse these theatre production pages and DO CONTACT US - we'll be sure to let you know when our negotiations are complete and our website has been updated accordingly.

Are you seeking

  • An in-expensive production with a small cast size?

  • Roles that are educational & challenging?

  • Minimal Props?

  • Directorial Freedom?

  • A fully flexible, entertaining, educational and fundraising production that gives back to the community and the world?

is the combination of 2 works both created whilst the author and composer were undergoing cancer treatments.  The project's aim is to enable community theatre groups to perform a piece that entertains, educates, start conversations, is fun and raises funds for Cancer Research.  We are proud to be authorised by the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) and recognise the contribution of Griffith University in the development of our Audience information handouts.
