WINNER -  Best New Australian Play Award (Redfest Dramafest 2013)

THE SILK RAGS PROJECT IS COMING TO YOUR HOME SOON!

The Silk Rags Project 'Host@Home' experience will be launched on World Cancer Research Day on 24th September 2022!

You will be able to purchase a hosting pack, invite some friends, have fun and learn,  knowing that you have donated to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

You can also purchase an individual pack that you can read and listen to at home by yourself.

HOW DOES THE HOST AT HOME PACKAGE WORK?

It's an easy concept!  You decide to host a small event and:

  • Invite friends around for a get together - you'll need a minimum total of 6 participants

  • Follow the host directions

  • Read the play aloud - each friend reads a character

  • Listen to the songs in-between each scene

  • Laugh,  Cry and LEARN

  • Complete a self analysis form about your Silk Rags Project experience

  • Receive an educational handout as developed with Griffith University

  • Raise funds for the Australia Cancer Research Foundation

  • Each get to keep a paperback script,  CD or digital download of the soundtrack and other goodies!
